What’s
your Skin Complexion?
The
combination of skin tone and under-tone is known as Skin Complexion.
Do
you know your skin complexion? No?!
Don’t
worry!!
Here
are some simple ways to determine your skin complexion at home…
1. Check your veins
Study the colour of your
wrist.
·
If your veins are blue or purple in colour then
you have a cool under-tone.
·
If your veins are greenish blue then you have a
warm under-tone.
·
And if your veins appear colourless or match
the colour of your skin then you have neutral under-tone.
2. Use a white paper
Take a piece of white paper.
Now, hold the paper up to your face and compare your skin with it. You can also
use a white cloth. Further,
·
If your skin looks yellowish, greenish or
brownish then you are likely to have a warm under-tone.
·
If your skin looks pink, rosy or blue then you
have a cool under-tone.
·
And if your skin looks greyish then you have a
neutral under-tone.
Moreover,
if you think that you are extremely tanned then compare your skin behind your
ear with the piece of paper as the area behind the ears is less likely to be
affected.
3. Clothes
Study the colour of your
clothes against your skin and analyse…
·
You have cool under-tone if colours like blue
or purple suit you.
·
You have warm under-tone if colours like
yellow, red or orange suit you.
·
If all the shades of colour suits then you have
a neutral under-tone.
4. Eye Colour
Your natural eye colour can be
a key to your under-tones.
·
Light coloured eye like blue, grey, green or
pale brown means you have cool under-tone.
·
Dark coloured eye like brown, amber, hazel or
black means you have warm under-tone.
