Fitting: Wear clothes with medium to loose fitting. The aim is to make your upper body in
balance with the lower body. This will help you enhance your upper body and make you look definite. Try not to go for tight
fitted clothes.

Maroon, brown, emerald green,
black are some dark colours which will help you hide your lower ‘shelf’ body.

There are different style of
sleeves depending on the length.
A spoon shaped body needs a
sleeve that makes the shoulder line and the bust area look in shape and that
balance outs the lower body.
Considering these aspects, go
for short to medium length sleeves.
Short sleeves widens the area
with enrichments like puff, flare, bat-winged making the area voluminous. And
medium length sleeve works well when open from shoulder to the end of length

Coats with belts will help
defining the waist. Empire line coats and trench coats look perfect on a spoon
shaped body.
Avoid wearing coats and jackets
that end up at the hip line, it would make you look shapeless.

§ Jeans and Pants:
Wear jeans and pants with
straight legs or trouser cut. Try going for solid and darker colours to avoid
getting attention on the lower body.
Jeans and pants with high waist
usually works well. It will hide your bust area well and make the upper body
look balanced.
Avoid narrow fitted and low to medium
wasited jeans or pants. These will make your butt area look even wider.

Straight
and pencil skirts looks adorable on a spoon shaped body. These skirts will make
you look slim and long.
You
can also go with mini skirts which help you keep the attention on your legs
making it look elongated.
Avoid
going for knee-length and tight skirts. It’ll make you look unshaped.

You dress should draw attention
on your shoulders and bust. For that, you need to wear dresses that are wider
at bottom to hide your ‘shelf’ hip area and enhance the upper body.

area. Just keep in mind that the lower
body should be clean with no enrichments and the skirt shouldn’t be tight but
flared with a medium to full length.

§ Jumpsuits:
To add
up volume to your upper body, jumpsuits with patterns and short to medium
sleeves will help you gain attention.
Leg-wise,
straight pants will look adorable.

Two-coloured – Go for jumpsuit with a lighter bright colour for the upper
body to enhance the shoulders and bust area and a darker colour for lower body
making the hip area hideous.

Off-shoulders – Just as the dresses, this type of jumpsuit will show off

Avoid skinny pants and narrow neckline. Don’t go
